I Spent 20 Years Building This. Then I Realized I Needed Less.
For more than 20 years, I have been building. I have studied, written, taught, coached, spoken on stages, created courses, developed methods, worked with survivors, and trained coaches and practitioners. Along the way I built Amazing YOU, Reclaim Intimacy, Soul Psychology® and Your Own University.
I love this work. I believe in what I have created, and every piece came from somewhere. A client needed something. I saw a pattern. Research led me somewhere new. My own life taught me something I wanted to teach. One program grew into another, and eventually I had more than 20 years of work sitting in front of me.
Then I started rebuilding my websites.
I thought I was redesigning pages.
Instead, I got one hell of an Amazing Mindset lesson.
When Everything Matters, Nothing Gets to Be First
At first, I wanted everything on the website because everything felt important. People need to know about Amazing YOU. They need to understand Reclaim Intimacy. I need to explain Soul Psychology®. What about the certifications? The book? The podcast? Speaking? Coaching? The research? Your Own University? The app?
None of those thoughts were wrong.
That was the problem.
I wasn't sorting through bad ideas. I was sorting through years of good work, and I kept trying to give all of it the same amount of attention at the same time. The more I added, the harder it became to understand where someone should begin.
Then I recognized something I teach my students all the time.
More information was not giving me more clarity. More information was competing for my attention.
So I changed the question.
Instead of asking, “How do I fit everything in?” I started asking, “What does someone need to understand first?”
That question changed the entire project.
This Is Amazing Mindset in Real Life
Amazing Mindset is the Mental Power Zone of the Amazing YOU Method. We work with your thoughts, beliefs, attention, focus, mental imagery, internal stories, and the things you keep rehearsing inside your own head.
I do not teach that every thought needs to become positive. Difficult thoughts do not mean something is wrong with you, and I have no interest in spending the rest of my life analyzing every damn thought that crosses my mind.
You have thoughts. You are not your thoughts. But they are your thoughts, which means you get to notice them, question them, and decide which ones deserve more of your attention.
That applies to decisions too.
Sometimes “I need more clarity” is true. You are missing information, and gathering more makes sense. Other times, “I need more clarity” becomes a respectable way to avoid choosing.
That was happening to me.

I Didn't Need Another Idea. I Needed a Decision.
Once I stopped trying to make everything first, the websites started making sense.
My personal website and Your Own University do different jobs.
LishaAntiqua.com is where you meet me. It holds my story, philosophy, private work, speaking, Amazing YOU, Reclaim Intimacy and Soul Psychology®. It gives someone who finds me through a podcast, article, event, referral, or social post a place to understand who I am and how I work.
YourOwnUniversity.com is the school. It is where the methods become education, programs, practices, professional training, certifications and pathways people study and experience.
The work did not need to disappear. It needed somewhere to belong.
That distinction sounds obvious now. It was not obvious when I was staring at two decades of things I had created and trying to make every one of them important on the same page.
Clarity required me to choose.
And I suspect there is somewhere in your life where the same thing is happening.
Maybe You Don't Need More Clarity
Think about one thing you keep telling yourself you need to “get clearer” about. Maybe it is your business, your next chapter, a relationship, the book you keep talking about writing, the work you want to bring into the world, or a decision you have revisited so many times you already know every possible answer.
Ask yourself whether you are genuinely missing information.
If you are, name the information. Be specific. Figure out where to get it.
If you already have enough information, stop researching for a minute and ask a different question: “What do I need to choose?”
One decision.
You do not need to solve the next ten steps before taking the next one. Sometimes continuing to collect information feels productive because you are busy, learning, researching, comparing and thinking. Meanwhile, the decision that would move everything forward is sitting exactly where you left it.
This is one of the reasons I built the Amazing YOU Flow app around daily intentions and small wins. Repetition matters. Where you repeatedly direct your attention matters. A giant breakthrough feels great, but your life is also being shaped by what you practice on an ordinary Tuesday.
Practice your daily focus inside Amazing YOU Flow.
Two Websites. Two Doors. Much Less Confusion.

The rebuild also forced me to think about what happens when you arrive.
If you come to my personal site because something in my story, teaching, speaking or work resonates with you, I do not want to hand you twenty choices. I want to help you understand yourself first. That is why the Identity Shift Blueprint belongs there.
Visit LishaAntiqua.com and start with your Identity Shift Blueprint.
Your Own University serves a different moment. Many people arrive there because they have already lived through something, learned something, or developed something they want to do more with. Some are still rebuilding. Some are beginning to realize they have a message. Others are ready to turn their experience and expertise into something they teach, lead or build.
That is why the Soul Purpose Quiz belongs there.
Take the Your Own University Soul Purpose Quiz.
Two doors. Two purposes. No giant menu asking you to figure out everything before you begin.
That simplicity took a surprising amount of thinking.
Taking Things Away Did Not Make My Work Smaller
This might be my favorite lesson from the entire rebuild.
Taking things away did not erase twenty years of work. It finally gave the work room to make sense.
Amazing YOU is still the methodology at the center of so much of what I teach. The six Power Zones are still Body, Mind, Emotions, Vibe, Relationships and Purpose. Reclaim Intimacy still takes the work deeper into choice, intimacy, pleasure and expression. Soul Psychology® still explores identity, consciousness and the deeper relationship with who we are. Your Own University still gives students and professionals places to study, practice, train and build.
I did not need less substance.
I needed less competition for attention.
That is an Amazing Mindset lesson I will keep long after the websites are finished.
What Deserves Your Attention Now?
There is a difference between having many possibilities and needing to pursue all of them at once. I have spent much of my life creating, and I do not plan to stop. Turning 51 did not suddenly make me want fewer ideas. If anything, I have more.
What has changed is my willingness to decide which idea gets my attention now.
Your attention is part of your power. Every time you choose what you are going to focus on, you are also choosing what gets less of you for the moment. That does not make the other things unimportant. It means you have decided what comes first.
So if your mind feels cluttered today, resist the urge to immediately add another planner, podcast, course, expert opinion, strategy session, or hour of research.
Look at what you already know.
Then ask yourself what I finally had to ask myself after twenty years of building:
What needs to be first?
Choose that.
Then give it your attention.
